Graphic Designer & Content Creator

LEAD Alliance is seeking a graphic designer and content writer to work on New Zealand’s largest urban development to transform Auckland's future.

LEAD is a design and construction alliance created to lay the groundwork for the new homes and spaces communities need and leave a legacy of better urban development.


The graphic designer and content writer will report to the communications manager. You will be responsible for supporting the planning, design and creation of high-quality content for internal and external communications.


What you will be doing

  • Actively identify, gather, write, film, edit, and design content - including stories, graphics, infographics and video that communicates to diverse stakeholders
  • Manage and maintain website content and LinkedIn
  • Design and produce EDMs and content for whole team events
  • Design collateral such as adverts, flyers, posters, videos and social posts
  • Collaborate with teams across the alliance including alliance partners.

The successful candidate will have

  • Formal qualifications in design, communications, advertising, copywriting or similar
  • Minimum four years’ experience, ideally with exposure to public sector and/or infrastructure projects
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management, communication, and engagement skills
  • Experience using Adobe suite, Mailchimp and Webflow
  • Good writing and able to work autonomously in a fast-paced design, construction & engineering environment.
